When carving a pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern, it is imperative to clean out all of the seeds, string and loose pulp. Scraping the inside of the pumpkin so that it is nice and clean will keep the carved pumpkin firmer longer, keeping mold and mildew at bay.

Simply spray WD-40 all over the exterior side of your carved masterpiece! But, user-beware! WD-40 can be flammable, so please wait at least 24 hours before placing a candle (or any flame) near or inside of your pumpkin.
